because it looked the best of its kind. There's not much choice when it comes to "one legged" rear arms, most of the stuff out there is real CRAP. I went for the one sided arms because install was going to be a piece of cake, I cut off the oem arms with an angle grinder. They certainly look strong enough but I was wondering if they would stand the test of time !
